Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
ProspectIQ (“we”, “us”) is a UK B2B lead-discovery service operated by Dizzy Otter. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We aim to keep it plain and honest.
1. What data we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
- Workspace & usage data — workspaces you create, searches you run, leads you save, exports, and API usage. This is used to operate the product and meter your plan.
- Business lead data — information about companies you search for and save, sourced from public records (Google Places, Companies House, the FCA Register) and enrichment providers. This is business contact information, not consumer data.
- Billing data — if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe; we store only a customer reference and subscription status, never card details.
2. Why we collect it (lawful basis)
We process account and workspace data to provide the service you have signed up for (performance of a contract). We process business lead data and product analytics on the basis of legitimate interest — running and improving a B2B prospecting tool — balanced against the rights of the individuals concerned. Where required, business contact data is handled in line with UK GDPR and PECR.
3. How long we keep it
We keep your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, the workspaces you own, and the leads, activity, saved searches, and API keys within them. Some records may persist in backups for a short period before they are overwritten.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), Stripe for payments, and the data providers used to find and enrich leads (e.g. Google Places, Companies House, the FCA Register). We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Security → Delete account, or by emailing us at the address below. We will respond to requests within one month.
